Listingbook’s coming to Westchester in January

The launch of Listingbook in the Westchester-Putnam, N.Y., area in January will add about 9,000 more agents to the ever-growing slate of Listingbook-powered online communities around the country.

Westchester County has a population of about 1 million. North of New York City, Westchester has the Long Island Sound along its southeast border and the Hudson River along its western border. The landmark Caramoor Center for Music and the Arts in Katonah is home to the Caramoor International Music Festival, one of the top five outdoor festivals in the nation. Putnam County to the north, has a population of nearly 100,000. The town of Kent sports the Chuang Yen Monastery, the largest Buddhist monastery in the eastern United States.

Regional Sales Director Doug Brkich with be working with the Westchester County Board of Realtors® and the Putnam County Association of Realtors® to help smooth the way.

This marks the second launch of an MLS online community in New York. The Multiple Listing Service of Long Island and its associations have been using Listingbook since January 2008.
